NIFTY, is a feature film based on true events and people about the life and meteoric rise to fame of internationally acclaimed Australian jockey Neville ‘Nifty’ Sellwood, whose success was constantly threatened by the compulsive gambling and dark lifestyle of his brother, Jimmy.

 

Set against the backdrop of the excitement, glamour and danger of the most popular sport of its time in 1950s, the film delves into the brothers’ personal relationships, struggles, insecurities, fears, triumphs, and tragedies.
